The school has established a well equipped Mathematics Laboratory. It is a place where learning becomes fun. The laboratory approach of teaching Mathematics provides students with the opportunity to understand and discover the beauty, importance and relevance of Mathematics as a discipline. The Math Lab comprises of a variety of mathematical teaching aids in the form of models, games, charts, CDs, books etc. useful for effective learning.
The focus of learning is on developing number sense, spatial sense, recognition of patterns and gradually to attend the problems with algorithm and abstraction. Teachers emphasize on mathematical process which helps the child to imbibe concepts using concrete materials, problem solving with real-life situations, reasoning, reflecting and connecting, selecting appropriate computational tools, strategies and use of Mathematical vocabulary.
This lab is primarily designed to meet the requirements of students studying life sciences. The lab is well equipped with preserved specimens of different groups of animals and plants, a model of human skull, permanent slides containing cellular organisms, microscopes to study microscopic organisms and other cellular materials, apparatus and chemicals required for experimental purpose.
Models and charts display diversity on planet earth. Model of pitcher plant (endangered species) and a D.N.A molecule (genetic structure) are the recent additions in the lab.
Psychology lab provides the much needed room for experimentation and testing without which the study of Psychology is incomplete. It accommodates psychological equipments like Muller Lyer apparatus and conducts tests like aptitude, intelligence, personality, interest, etc., used for assessing different psychological attributes.
‘Practice leads to language learning success.’
In an endeavor to make language learning more effective, SNEH International School provides the students with an ‘English Language Lab’, wherein the students get more resources and varied activities than in a traditional classroom.
With the facilities in the Language Lab, learning occurs in a structured and fun-filled way, making the learning visually attractive and immersing the students in the language learning environment while promoting language use.
Geography Lab plays a pivotal role in enriching geographical base of a student. The Geography Lab is equipped with maps, contour and projection charts, 3D charts and apparatus like Wind Wane, Clinometer, instruments like globe, etc. to facilitate and enhance the comprehension of the students
In the present times, knowledge cannot be confined to textbooks. We are a part of the world where education goes beyond school books. Our school comprehends the current trend and believes in leaving no stone unturned to educate its learners in all areas. We realize the worth of electronically supported learning and teaching. We have information and communication systems to assist learning.
Our computers are all high-quality TFT Screen units with ancillary printers and carefully monitored and filtered internet connectivity. We spare no effort to prepare our learners for the global society and IT driven world.

SNEH International takes pride in the fact that it has two very high tech labs with internet connectivity, electronic white-boards, digital projection, audio-visual systems and many types of hardware to enhance the quality and depth of learning for the students and also for the teachers. Each lab comprises of 36 systems.
Interactive Website
The school has successfully integrated computerized processes of administration, be it for preparation of report cards, fee-slips, communicating with parents, managing the school finances etc.
Each parent is provided with a login id to view daily circulars, homework etc. The school website contributes immensely in the dispersion of information and interactive communication capabilities.
Smart classrooms have been designed to aid effective classroom teaching. Students are exposed to short duration multi-media clips which help them visualize complex concepts. One of the tools is an interactive whiteboard. It also offers worksheets to promote creative and critical thinking.
An interactive quiz generates interest even among the ones who normally shy away from studies. An audio-visual class has definitely proved to be interesting to the child who is bored of the traditional lecture method. Tata Edge classes addresses the learning needs of the exceptional students as well as the average learner.
The classes have several Mathematics tools like drawing figures on the board with the means of the stylus making Mathematics fun to learn. The special section on Geography too makes it interesting for the children and simpler for teacher to make the children understand and read maps better.
For the tiny tots, learning is great fun when they see their cartoon characters come to life in front of their eyes explaining to them different concepts. Overall an enjoyable tool both in the hands of the teacher and to aid learning for students in class.
Art & Craft
Art helps children to express their feelings and thoughts in a non-literal way. In our “Art Studio” we teach children how they can express, communicate, explore and imagine with the help of colors and figures. It strengthens students’ problem solving, critical thinking skills, adding to overall academic achievement.
In the same way, art and craft classes develop students’ cognitive and motor skills. We teach students origami, quilling, craft punch, pot decoration, flower making, best out of waste etc. The students are given liberty to work on their own choice of topic and theme, so that they can express their feelings and idea in a better way.
Across the school, students have art as an essential discipline and Primary, Junior and Senior schools have dedicated art spaces that are buzzing with energy and creativity.
Clay Modelling
Clay Modeling is the process of moulding soft material to create a three dimensional form. Clay is the most frequently material used for modeling
Children love to work with their hands and they are naturally creative and imaginative which helps to enrich their vision and enables them to appreciate and develop an aesthetic sense to enjoy three dimensional forms. Children sharpen their observation skills through study of common objects and various geometrical and non- geometrical forms found in life and around nature. It enhances their creativity and skills such as flexibility of their fingers. Children love to shape different objects by using the potter’s wheel.
We have a studio for clay modelling, providing children an atmosphere to think freely and to give their imagination definite shape. Here children feel free to put their imagination into reality which fills them with a sense of self confidence and novelty.
This room is equipped with the best and the latest LCD projector with a big screen, charts, specimens and models. The educational CD’s on different subjects like Mathematics, Science and Social Studies make learning easy and interesting. Understanding of the concepts is greater due to better clarity.
Students have both an audio as well as a visual perception of the subjects taught through beautiful presentations made by teachers. This makes learning a fun filled experience. In accordance with this the school provides Activity based teaching in this room. Children enjoy each session as they discover a new world of science through exploring new vista they can venture into. Learning becomes more interesting and fun filled as they learn different laws of science and other subjects.

SNEH International School took up the ‘Vermicompost’ project as an Eco-Club initiative in the academic session of 2019-20 with the aim of motivating the students to segregate the wastes produced. Under this project, the students are guided to bring biodegradable waste products like used tea leaves, fruit and vegetable peels from home, etc. The waste produced in school garden like fallen leaves and dry grass is collected and then the waste is gathered in a pit in the composting area of school ground. It is then covered with a layer of soil. Red worms are also introduced to speed up the process of decomposition. The school gardeners are also guided water the pit at regular intervals. After a span of almost 6 months the entire waste gets converted to manure which is then again used in school garden.
A paper recycling unit was set up at SNEH international school in the academic session of 2019-20 with the aim of encouraging students to participate in making recycled paper from waste paper. The aim of our school’s recycling unit is to encourage students to collect waste paper from school’s front desk, examination department, account department and staffroom. They are also motivated to bring waste papers from homes such as used notebooks of previous session and the ones which are of no use to them. The sheets are then torn in small bits and immersed in water for a few hours to make them soft. The paper is then converted to pulp and spread. The handmade sheets are then dried up and used by students of art club and eco club to make greeting cards, envelopes, invitation cards, etc.
